Living The Vision
"...Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry" (Habakkuk 2: 2,3)
WHAT IS THE VISION FOR ELMWOOD AVENUE CHURCH OF GOD....?
To Continue in Our Goals of:
1 - Fulfilling the mission of Luke 4:18-19.
2 - Reaching "Whosoever" by WHATEVER MEANS available.
3 - Perpetuating discipleship training provided by committed staff and volunteers through WORD-BASED teaching, preaching, singing and Christian arts that will enable believers of all ages to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
4 - Encourage all members and congregants to become faithful financial stewards through obedience to the complete Scriptural precept of financial giving.
5 - Pursuing consistent growth in worship attendance and opportunities to be a part of an ongoing Christian education process.
6 - Staffing our ministries proportionately.
7 - An ongoing effort to formulate negotiable plans to acquire properties within the Bull/Elmwood/Wallace/Jefferson Street block for phasing further occupancy and/or construction to accommodate CONTINUED GROWTH.

8 - Supporting all areas of our outreach ministries in our endeavor to attain the established goals of their MISSION and VISION .
