James Sharpe is currently serving as the Youth Pastor of Elmwood Avenue Church of God.  He is responsible for the Christian education of the youth of this local church body as well as heading up many activities such as  youth trips, youth camps, and fundraisers to help the children participate in these events.

Pastor Sharpe also serves on the District Youth Advisory Board, and has served in other capacities in youth ministry in South Carolina.
